III პრიზი- ორნახევარი კვირით პროფესიული სტაჟირების პროგრამა სამაგისტრო პროგრამის სტუდენტისთვის მევენახეობის კვლევითი ტური ორეგონის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში. სტუდენტს დაუფინანსდება ცხოვრება, კვება, ავტობუსით მგზავრობა, ორმხრივი ავიაბილეთი. სტუდენტს ეძლევა აგრეთვე შანსი მიიღოს მონაწილეობა შემდგომ კონკურსში და სრულად დაუფინანსდეს სწავლა საუკეთესო კვლევით უნივერსიტეტში (Oregon wine Research Institute) სამაგისტრო პროგრამაზე მევენახეობა-მეღვინეობაში ან ენოლოგიაში ორეგონის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში.
კონკურში მონაწილეობის პირობები:
საბაკალავრო პროგრამებისთვის: საშუალო სკოლის დამამთავრებელი კლასის მოსწავლეები, საშუალო სკოლა დამთავრებულები და უმაღლესი სასწავლებლის პირველი კურსის სტუდენტები, მაღალი აკადემიური მონაცემებით.
სამაგისტრო პროგრამებისთვის: ბაკალავრის დიპლომი GPA 3.0-ით და TOEFL 80 ქულა. სამუშაო გამოცდილება ან ნებისმიერი გამოცდილება მევენახეობა/მეღვინეობაში.

The eligibility:
For Undergraduates:
High School students in their final year of studies, 12th grade with very good grades. High school graduates and 1st year university students for undergraduate programmes.
For Postgraduates:
Bachelor degree holders for master programmes with GPA: 3.0 and TOEFL of 80. Work experience or any kind of experience in Wine industry.
The contest will consist of 3 stages:
Stage I – successful candidates (with high school/university GPA,good command of English preferably holding IELTS/TOEFL Certificates) will be invited for the interview (Till October 13th 2017);

Wine Industry in Oregon
– The state of Oregon in the United States has established an international reputation for its production of wine, ranking fourth in the country behind California, Washington, and New York. Oregon has several different growing regions within the state’s borders that are well-suited to the cultivation of grapes.
– The expansion of wineries and vineyards in recent years is a testament to Oregon’s reputation for quality grape growing and winemaking.
– More than 400 Wineries located in Oregon State.
– Overall production in 2015 reached an all-time high of 84,949 tons, up 7% over the prior vintage.
Notice:
- It is not necessary to have IELTS/TOEFL certificate for the participation in the contest, though in case of winning the contest passing IELTS/TOEFL exam and obtaining the certificate with the required grade will be necessary.
- OSU also offers regular OPT (Optional practical Training) and CPT (curricular practical training) in all major academic programmes, especially prevalent in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects, which gives student a chance to work in American companies for 1-3 years. After obtaining an internship, a student can file an H1B visa application, 6 year dual intent visa that leads directly to a green card (permanent residence) application.
